Exciting news! The State Grass Initiative supported by KNPS now has a bill in the House (HB2649) to name Little Bluestem as the State Grass for Kansas. The Committee (Federal and State Affairs) has 21 members (see http://www.kslegislature.org/legsrv-house/showCommittee.do for names). If any of these are from your district and you would like to help, please send them an e-mail expressing your conviction that we need a state grass and why it should be Little Bluestem.
